News and Notes from Sloane and Walsh

May 9, 2021 – Sloane and Walsh, LLP Attorneys John A. Donovan III and Judah Rome, Esq. recently secured a defense verdict for two physicians in a two-week medical malpractice jury trial in Rhode Island. 

The plaintiff asked the jury to award between $7,500,000 and $11,250,000 in damages for an alleged wrongful death, pain and suffering and loss of consortium. The jury rejected this request and returned a unanimous verdict in favor of the defendant physicians.
