June 8, 2020 – Sloane and Walsh, LLP (www.sloanewalsh.com), a leading national law firm with a focus on litigation and insurance law, is pleased to announce that Associate Terence Durkin has completed a six-week Direct Commission Course at Fort Benning, GA, and a twelve-week Officer Basic Course at The Judge Advocate General’s Legal Center and School in Charlottesville, VA. 

Mr. Durkin is a First Lieutenant in the United States Army.

The Judge Advocate General’s Legal Center and School (TJAGLCS) is the premier legal institution in the federal government, providing legal education, strategic planning, and collection and integration of lessons learned for the Army Judge Advocate General’s Corps (JAGC), as well as the U.S Department of Defense legal community.

About Terence Durkin ~ Mr. Durkin is an associate at Sloane and Walsh, LLP’s Boston office. He concentrates his practice on a broad range of civil litigation matters, including insurance defense, general liability defense, medical malpractice defense, and subrogation. Mr. Durkin earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from Wesleyan University in 2016 and his Juris Doctor from Suffolk University Law School in 2019. While at Suffolk, he was a Staff Member and Blog Editor of the Journal of High Technology Law. Prior to joining the firm as an associate, Mr. Durkin served as a judicial intern in the Boston Municipal Court. He also served as a law clerk at Sloane and Walsh throughout his time in law school.
