Brian is a senior partner at Sloane and Walsh whose practice concentrates on professional liability defense litigation and employment law in state and Federal Court and before administrative agencies, and his experience includes multiple successful jury trials to verdict in both civil and criminal matters.

Prior to joining Sloane and Walsh, LLP, in 2001, Mr. Sullivan served in the U.S. Navy, primarily as a criminal defense lawyer representing military personnel in Courts-Martial in Groton CT and in Sicily, Italy. Mr. Sullivan remained affiliated with the military as a reserve officer, teaching trial practice and international law at the Naval Justice School and the Defense Institute for International Legal Studies. He retired in 2010 from the U.S. Navy Judge Advocate General’s Corps as a Commander. Before law school Mr. Sullivan was stationed on USS Kauffman as a Surface Warfare Officer, and deployed to the Baltic Sea, the Caribbean, and to the Persian Gulf in 1991.
